Colors are an important piece of brand identity. It's because of this that you need to take time to make sure that they'll be used properly. Let's dive into how 1Brand can help you do this!
Brand Color Customization
Your brand color page is your go-to resource to set your colorways, name your colors, tag your colors, and add or delete colors. Before you get started, here are a couple of things to remember.
Check this box to mare sure that you can translate your colorways to all of the models that you need.
See a quick preview of your colors name and its color value. Use the drop-down to change the colorway you want to display. Its associated value will updated accordingly.
For Basic subscriptions, you'll be limited to 3 colors. Upgrade to Pro to unlock all of your colors!
Hovering over a color will give you an option to delete or update the color. Updating is very important as it will allow you to customize the colors name (we use some fun ones as a default), color tags, and which coloway you'd like to display.
Name your color.
Select which colorways you'd like to display for the specific color. The selections you make here will determine what becomes available in the final guideline. This is important in case a color is only to be used for a specific purpose - CMYK for print is a good example.
Tag your color. Use this to help define what the color will be used in. For example, you might have a color that is only to be used in print materials so you can tag it as Brand, Primary, and Print.
If you have upgraded from Basic, you can add more colors at any time by scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking on the "+" tile. From there, you'll be able to add your color, name it, and tag it.
